I think you found this "scantripling" information in Natami forum? If they are able to implement this, it may not be possible that easy for Minimig. The FPGA is quite full and perhaps the basic timing need to be changed... I did not find any good information about scantripling or how to realize.

I have tried scan-tripling and quadrupling a long time ago.
The one I prefer is the scan-quadrupling because I can easily map 320x256 or 640x256 to 1280x1024 native resolution.
As a result, there is no blur on an LCD screen.
Moreover, with a smart dithering, you can simulate 1 million colors with a 12-bit RGB output.
Scan quadrupling is NTSC only because in PAL : 312 x 4 lines = 1248 lines, the screen thinks that you want to display a 1600x1200 image instead of 1280x1024.

Regards,

Frederic

Would be a bit tricky to support all kind of physical resolution on different LCD model. Some only support 1024x768 and others do have 1440x900 native pixel ratser.
Perhaps the Replay-Board is more able to provide such luxury :)

Ah now I understand your which in swapping those keys. Sure its more Amiga-like :)

Not only that, I "grew up" using amiga and old DEC keyboards and they both have ctrl there, and as I (reluctantly) moved on to PC keyboards I always mapped the otherwice unused caps lock to ctrl. On Linux/*BSD it is easy enough to do (and quite common among old school un*x users), and for windows I have a regedit file that does it. For MorphOS Tokai was kind enough to expand the NoCaps commodity and add a ctrl2caps option for me.

So true! :)
