Of course not, thats why I made it

One can not change the hardfile size by using Minimig or any Amiga software. Lets see the
hardfile.hdf as an physical existing harddrive inside the Amiga600:
Its physical capacity is also unchangeable by any kind of software.
The only way to enlarge or shrink the "harddrive" size is to replace the
hardfile.hdf file on sd-card root with another one.
Everything Minimig can "see" on sd-card is simmulated hardware. Any .adf file is like a physical floppy disk and so is hardfile.hdf.
Also there is some difference between WinUAE behavior and real Amiga behavior to any hardfile. The most working way is to create an empty file (e.g. 1GB) named "hardfile.hdf" with any kind of tool. Store it on sd(hc) card and boot up Minimig with at least kickstart 2.05 (37.350) or even better kickstart 3.1.
Insert workbench install disk (wb31install.adf) and setup your harddisk with HDToolBox. After that you have to quick format the new partition(s). Now the hardfile.hdf is ready to be used in Minimig AND WinUAE for file handling
