Altera would be best.
- Minimig has Altera ports as well.

It looks like a little Altera/Xilinx war is about to start here

I am with Mark : I am an Altera guy. I really like their tools, their support and the fact that they have good sized FPGA in QFP package.
And, yes the board is with an Altera : Cyclone III based like your board.

Hello,

I can release some characteristics:
- 12-bit RGB output
- S-Video ouput
- Stereo output
- 2 x DB-9 joystick connectors
- 2 x PS/2 connectors
- 1 million or 1.5 million gate FPGA
- 16 or 32 MB SDRAM
- 4-bit SD-Card mode
- 5V DC input
- Multi-core selection
- JTAG connector
Last but not least : cheaper and smaller than a Minimig.
Concerning the openess, we will certainly release the FPGA pinout and some VHDL modules so everybody can make their own VHDL design.

Is the MCC still a product that is going to become available to buy?

If so could you upgrade the colour out put to 24-bit? So it can handle the full colour output of the new minimig AGA core and display 256 colour and ham8 modes correctly with the full colour spectrum.

It is actually available for pre-order at http://www.arcaderetrogaming.com.
We have changed the characteristics a little bit.
It is S-Video only, PAL and NTSC. The FPGA is an EP3C16. There is 16MB of SDRAM and a micro-SD card.
Because of the S-Video nature of the output, you can certainly generate more than 4096 colors.
How many ? I do not know yet.

Looks very nice how much do they cost?

Secondly when will Amiga support be available, as at lest for me that is the main platform I am interested in, that and the ZX spectrum as they are the computers I had as a kid

It dose look like a nice product and a few of my friends had C64 and would probably be interested if the price were right, but I will most likely stick with my Minimig unless the MCC offers something that my 4MB minimig with ARM addon board dose not for Amiga support.
